A DTC grooming brand stuck on one winning ad
Fresh Cuts had built a loyal customer base on a single hero video that had been running, with minor tweaks, for over a year. Frequency was climbing, CTR was falling, and every new variant the in-house team shipped underperformed the original. They came to JUICE with a clear brief: rebuild the top of the funnel without nuking the brand voice that made the original ad work.
Speed, volume, and brand fidelity at the same time
DTC brands don't fail at paid social because the platforms broke — they fail because the creative pipeline can't keep up with auction fatigue. Fresh Cuts needed dozens of net-new concepts per month, each tested against a clear hypothesis, without sacrificing the cinematic feel of the original spot. Traditional production couldn't ship that volume; templated UGC couldn't hold the brand bar.

We mapped 6 audience-message combinations to 6 creative formats — POV demonstrator, founder-led story, before/after, comparison, problem/agitate, and social proof. From there, our advanced production pipeline generated visual references, voiceover takes, edit assemblies, and motion treatments in parallel. Human creative direction stayed in the loop at every gate: brief approval, board approval, edit approval, final color and sound.
The result: 38 production-quality variants in 14 days, each one tagged with the hypothesis it was meant to test. Media buying could finally make decisions based on signal, not on which ad happened to be ready that week.
Measurable lift across every metric that matters
Within 60 days, Fresh Cuts hit a 3.4x ROAS on Meta — a 113% improvement over their prior 90-day baseline. CPA fell 62%. Thumb-stop rate climbed 41%, and the two top-performing variants both came from formats the in-house team had never tested before (founder-led story and comparison). The winning concepts now anchor an evergreen library JUICE refreshes every six weeks.
